| 28a - 30d | 31a 31b | 32a 32b 32c | 33a 33b 33c 33d | 34a 34b 34c | Mk 12:34b ... "Not far you are from the Kingdom of God."
The 3rd phrase has these 8 dialog words, ... Ou makran ei apo tēs basileias tou theou ("Not far you are from the Kingdom of God."). The 8 dialog words are bottom up. The first 4 words "Ou makran ei apo" ("Not far you are from") are tangent to the rhombii holding the Scribe and Jesus. The next 4 words "tēs basileias tou theou" (the Kingdom of God) are tangent to the rhombus holding Jesus and God the Father. The Scribe is not even halfway up to the Kingdom. But if the Scribe stepped up on the chord of the earth, he would be "one third of a head short" from the top of the Kingdom. The diagram would than agree with the imagery of the text! The narrator put these words in the mouth of Jesus as an example of ironic humor (a sight joke). 12:34a < Verses > 12:34c |
