Mk 12:31a ... "Second (is) this, you should love your neighbor as yourself, ..."

Verse 31 has three phrases and 14 words. The 1st two phrases have these 8 dialog words, ... Deutera autē, Agapeseis ton plēsion sou hōs seauton, ("Second (is) this, you should love the neighbor of you as yourself, ...")

The 8 dialog words are top down. The 2 words of the 1st phrase "Deutera autē" ["Second (is) this"] are tangent to the triangle under Jesus. The 6 words of the 2nd phrase "Agapeseis ton plēsion sou hōs seauton" ("you should love the neighbor of you as yourself, ...") are tangent to the three triangles holding faces of the scribe and his two neighbors. This diagram illustrates the "second precept."
