The third sentence has these 7 narrator words ... Kai pesōn epi tēs gēs, ekulieto, afrizōn (And having fallen upon the earth, he rolled, foaming). The 7 narrator words are top down. The previous diagram showed the child had no support between his body and the sides of the earth. The boy had to fall to earth. The child rolled and convulsed left and right. The imperfect passive verb "ekulieto" (he rolled) is a reflexive action such as the orbit of the moon around the earth, like the four words and the two bodies inside the red circle orbiting the circle of the earth. The active verb "afrizōn" (foaming), derived from the noun "afrisos" (foam), indicates a continuous act of foaming from the mouth, thus two circles of foam from the mouth of the boy filling the two triangles of the earth. 9:20b < Verses > 9:21a |
