Verse 25 has 6 phrases containing 14 narrator and 16 dialog words. The first 3 phrases contain 14 narrator words in this order, ... idōn de ho Iēsous hoti episuntrechei oxlos, epetimēsen tō pneumati tō akathartō legōn autō (having seen and the Jesus that is running upon together a crowd, ordered upon the Spirit the Unclean, saying to it, ...). The 14 narrator words are top down with no room to spare. This verse uses three verbs with the preposition prefix "epi" (upon). The first 7 word phrase is tangent to the signs of seeing at the top of the graph and to the crowd of 6 men "running together upon" (episuntrechei) the two white triangles in the center of the diagram. The second 5 word phrase is a verbal order sent off from the feet of Jesus down upon the Unclean Spirit below holding the little boy. The third 2 word phrase "legōn autō" (saying to it) is tangent to the "head of the little boy" and to the "Unclean Spirit." The father of the little boy shows his "unbelief" by "running away together upon the crowd" (episuntrechei oxlos). He is never mentioned again. The next diagram will show the verbal order Jesus said upon the "Unclean Spirit." 9:24b < Verses > 9:25b |
