Mk 9:8 ... And suddenly having looked around, they no longer saw anyone but the Jesus alone with themselves.

Verse 8 has two phrases and these 12 narrator words: ... Kai eksapina periblepsamenoi ouk etioudena eidon, alla ton Iēsoun monon meth heautōn (And suddenly having looked around no longer anyone they saw, but the Jesus alone with themselves).

The first 6 narrator words are bottom up. The second 6 narrator words are clockwise, starting at the left ear of Simon and ending tangent to his right ear and lips. The word "eksapina" (suddenly), a synonymn of "euthus" (immediately), is the cue to use the previous diagram (7b) as a template. The disciples must have been terrified when they saw the three tents and the "transfigured" Jesus talking with Moses and Elias. Suddenly, meaning as quick as it takes to turn ones head, the diagram shows Jesus has moved, Moses and Elias have disappeared, and they are now alone with Jesus again.
