Jn 21:9a ... Therefore ~ when they-stepped-off into the land, ...

Verse 9 has 4 phrases and 14 narrator words. The 1st phrase contains these 6 narrator words ... ōs oun apebēsan eis tēn gēn (When therefore they-stepped-off into the land, ...).

Diagram 1: The boat has immediately arrived on the land. The text uses the word apobainō (to step off ), referring to the boat. The seven disciples must still be in their vesica "stepping mode." The only way the diagram can change the sign of the sea from blue (the color of water) to "tēn gēn" (the land) is to change it's color to green (the color of land). The diagram shows the disciples tangent to the outlines of the words that will take them off the boat.

Diagram 2: The 6 words are top down. The first three words are tangent to the boat and the first 2 disciples stepping off if it. The last three words are tangent to the other 5 disciples. All 7 disciples have stepped off the boat into the land.
