Jn 1:36a ... And having looked to the Jesus walking around he says, ...

Verse 36 has three phrases containing 11 words. The first phrase has these 6 narrator words, ... Kai emblepsas tō Iēsou peripatounti legi, (And having looked to the Jesus walking around he says, ... ).

The 6 words are top down, tangent from the mouth of John looking down on four images of Jesus "tō Iēsou peripatounti" (to the Jesus walking around). John's two standing disciples have moved to the side, the sign of their sight is tangent to Jesus who is "walking around" in a rhombus. The imagery of the words matches the tangency and imagery of the diagram.
