Jn 1:37a ... And heard the two disciples of him speaking, ...

37a110

Verse 37 has two phrases and 11 narrator words. The first phrase has these seven narrator words ... Kai ēkousan hoi duo mathētai autou lalountos (And heard the two disciples of him speaking, ...).

Diagram 1: The 1480 size of the 7 narrator words are bottom up from the point of view of John's two disciples. The 2 words "Kai ēkousan" (And they heard) are tangent to the ears of John's two disciples. The 5 words "hoi duo mathētai autou lalountos" (the two disciples of him speaking) are tangent to John and to his two disciples. The 7 words refers refers back verse 1:36b, the 5 dialog words John just spoke.

Diagram 2: The 888 size of the 7 narrator words are bottom up from the point of view of John the Baptist who has the same dimensions as Jesus (888). The 7 words are tangent from the ears of John's two disciples, then tangent to God the Father, then tangent to John the Baptist, and then tangent at last to the 5 dialog words John just spoke in the previous verse ... (Look! The Lamb of God!). Since this part of the verse makes reference to the disciples hearing and John speaking the diagram has to test the size of the words from both sources. Amazingly, the 1480 size words and the 888 size words are perfectly tangent to the images the name.
