Mk 15:23b ... This-one yet not did-take (it).

The 3rd phrase has these 4 narrator words, ... hos de ouk elaben [This-one yet not did-take (it)].

The 4 narrator words are bottom up. The koine (dirty) Greek text might be a tip off that an ironic pun has just occurred. This phrase fulfills the prophesy Jesus made that "Amen I-say to-you, I will not drink the fruit of the vine, until the day I-drink it new in the Kingdom of God" (Mk 14:25) The unspoken word "it" refers to the wine and the myrrh mixed in it. The verb lambano/elaben means the person actively took something. But Jesus didn't do that. The wine and what was in it was forced on his head. The diagram reveals the myrrh was a literary device to anoint Jesus with spices just before he was crucified, like the woman who anointed him with costly myrrh worth 300 denarii earlier in the week (Mark 14:3). The soldiers have inadvertently anointed Jesus with the myrrh, not the wine. This christening, signifying his kingship, will soon be fulfilled when he receives his title “King of the Jews.”
