Mk 15:15a ... Yet the Pilate, wanting nothing more to do with the crowd, released Barabbas to them, ...

Verse 15 has 4 phrases and 20 narrator words. The first three phrases have these 13 words ... Ho de Pilatos, boulomenos to oxlo to ikanon poiesai, apelusen autois ton Barabban (The yet Pilate, willing to the crowd the no more to do, released to them the Barabbas, ...).

The 13 words are top down. The name "Pilatos" is tangent to Pilate. The 6 words "boulomenos to oxlo to ikanon poiesai" (willing to the crowd to do ~ no more) is tangent to nothing, meaning Pilate wanted nothing more to do with this crowd. The last 4 words "apelusen autois ton Barabban" (released to them the Barabbas) are tangent to Barabbas embedded in the crowd. The literary invention called Barabbas (Son of the Father) disappears in the crowd by Pilate, who looks like God the Father except his color is red rather than white. Barabbas never returns to the story. Pilate will return, but only after Jesus is dead.
