Verse 9 has two phrases, these 6 narrator and 7 dialog words ... Ho de Pilatos apekrithē autois legōn, Thelete apolusō humin tōn basilea Ioudaiōn (The but Pilate answered to them saying, "Do you wish I let go to you the King of the Jews?"). The 13 words are top down. Pilate asks the crowd to make a decision between Barabbas and Jesus, the "King of the Jews." The diagram shows the word "them" is tangent to the triangle holding the Jewish crowd. The diagram shows the 4 words "the king of the Jews" is tangent to Jesus and the Star of David. The diagram shows the 3 words "Do you wish I let go to you" is tangent to the crowd of Jews and Jesus. The imagery of the words matches the signs on the diagram. |
