Verse 5 has 2 phrases containing these 10 narrator words ... Ho de Iēsous ouketi ouden apekrithē, ōste thaumazein ton Pilaton (The but Jesus no longer anything answered, so as to amaze the Pilate). The 10 narrator words are bottom up. The 1st phrase of 6 words stops tangent to the triangles pressing up against the lips of the Chief Priests that said so many things of which they accused Jesus. The many accusations did not deserve a response. Jesus was provoking the order that would kill him. Jesus was refusing to defend himself. The 2nd phrase of 4 words filled the void between the Chief Priests and Pilate who was amazed at being forced to do something he didn't want to do. |
