Verse 5 has two phrases containing 6 narrator and 5 dialog words ... Ho de Iēsous ērksato legein autois, Blepete mē tis humas planēsē (The yet Jesus began to say to them, ... "Be seeing not anyone you deceive"). The 6 narrator and 5 dialog words are top down. The 6 narrator words are directed to the bottom two discipes. The 5 dialog words are only tangent to John and Andrew which confirms Jesus only "began not to finish" what he had to say to them. The first 3 dialog words "Blepete mē tis" ("Be seeing not anyone") are said into a void which is tangent to the two Unclean Spirits blocking the line of sight of all four disciples. The diagram confirms Jesus warned the top two disciples but they couldn't see the warning. The bottom two disciples were not warned but even they could not see the person who might try to deceive them. The words "don't see anyone" is not really a "warning," it is a prophesy. 13:4b < Verses > 13:6a |
