Mk 9:17a ... And answered to him one out of the crowd, ...

Verse 17 is a sentence with two phrases containing 17 words. The first phrase contains these 7 narrator words ... Kai apekrithe autō eis ek tou ochlou (And answered to him one out of the crowd, ...).

The 7 narrator words are top down. The word "autō" (to him) is tangent to the triangle holding Jesus. The 4 words"eis ek tou ochlou" (one out of the crowd) is tangent to the speaker at the center of the graph.
