Mk 9:15a ... And 'immediately' all the crowd having seen him were 'over-awed,' ...

Verse 15 has two phrases containing 12 narrator words. The first phrase has these 8 words ... Kai euthus pas ho ochslos idontes auton eksethambēthēsan (And 'immediately' all the crowd having seen him were 'out-awed,' ...).

The 8 narrator words are bottom up. The word euthus (immediately) is the cue to use the previous diagram as a template. The diagram shows all the men in the crowd could now see him. The preposition ek, (written eks before a vowel) means "out from and to," meaning from the middle, then up and out to the cause of the awe (the sight of Jesus). The extent of the 8 narrator words from below the crowd to the top of the diagram is the sign of the crowd "being out-awed."
