Mk 6:20a ... For Herod feared John, ...

Verse 20 has four sentences containing 6 phrases and 24 narrator words. The 1st phrase has these 6 words ... Ho gar Hērōdēs efobeito ton Iōannēn (The for Herod feared the John, ...).

The 6 narrator words are clockwise starting bottom left. The two words "Hērōdēs efobeito" (Herod feared) are tangent to the "fear" inside Herod's head. The first and last words "Ho Iōannēn" (The John) are tangent to the white triangle tangent to "John the Baptizer." This text and diagram show Herod feared John before he was arrested and hint he feared him even more after he was dead.
