| 21a - 34c | 35a 35b 35c | 36a 36b | 37a 37b | 38a 38b | 39a 39b | 40a 40b 40c 40d | 41a - 43b | Mk 5:37b ... except for the Stone, and James, and John, the brother of James.
The second through fifth phrases contain these 11 narrator words in this size and order ... ei mē ton Petron kai Iakōbon kai Iōannēn ton adelfon Iakōbou (if not the Stone, and James, and John, the brother of James). The 11 words, like 37a, are bottom up. The Stone, James, and John could be drawn tangent to each other, one on top of the other. But Jesus said he would not allow anyone to "sunakolouthēsai" (follow together), meaning to follow together tangent to each other on the same road. Doing that would make it impossible for their names to be tangent to their faces. In this diagram, the 4 words "ei mē ton Petron" (if not the Stone) are tangent to the white equilateral triangle, the sign of "the Stone," and the face of "Simon the Stone." Also, the 7 words "kai Iakōbon kai Iōannēn ton adelfon Iakōbou" (and James, and John, the brother of James) are tangent to the three disciples who are not tangent to each other. Also, the four names are each tangent to the correct disciple. 5:37a < Verses > 5:38a |
