Verse 30 has 4 phrases containing 17 narrator and 5 dialog words. The first two phrases have these 12 narrator words in this order, ... Kai euthus ho Iēsous epignous en eautō, tēn eks autou dunamin ekselthousan (And immediately the Jesus having known within himself, the power from him having-gone-out, ...). The 12 narrator words are top down. The 2 words "kai euthus" (and immediately) is the cue to use the previous diagram as a template. The 5 words "ho Iēsous epignous en eautō" (the Jesus having known within himself) are tangent to Jesus inside the Holy Spirit, the sign of his 'power.' The 3 words "tēn eks autou" (the from him) are tangent to Jesus himself and to the white triangle going out from his feet. The 2 words "dunamin ekselthousan" (power having gone out) are tangent to the white triangle and to the woman who wanted to touch the "garment" of Jesus which has the same sign as his "power." But the power of Jesus as God is infinite so he did not have any less power than before, he just felt it pass down, through, and out of him. 5:29b < Verses > 5:30b |
