The 2nd phrase has these 9 narrator words, ... kai egnō tō sōmati hoti iatai apo tēs mastigos (and she-knew in-the body that she-was-cured from the scourge). The 9 narrator words are top down. The 2 words "kai egnō" (and she knew) are tangent to the woman's hands holding the signs of 'knowing' coming from her head. The 2 words "tō sōmati" (in the body) are tangent to her body. The 5 words "hoti iatai apo tēs mastigos" (that she was cured from the scourge) are tangent to the five tailed Roman scourge and it's dried up flow of blood.
