Mark 5:19b
| 1a - 14d | 15a 15b 15c | 16a 16b 16c | 17 | 18a 18b | 19a 19b 19c 19d | 20a 20b 20c | Mk 5:19b ... but he-says to-him, ... "Underlead into the house of-you before 'the-ones' (who-are) yours, ..."
The 2nd and 3rd phrases have these 3 narrator and 8 dialog words ... alla legei autō, Hupage eis ton oikon sou, pros tous sous [but he-says to-him, ... "Underlead into the house of-you before 'the-ones' (who-are) yours, ..." ]. The 11 words are top down. The text says hupago, from hupo (under) and ago (lead). The former demoniac seemingly doesn't move. But he does! The house is now in the foreground, but he moves into the background. He has also "underlead" the eight words down into his house. The words (who are) in the fourth phrase are understood and do not appear in the text. If they did, it would break up the "pros tous sous" rhyme of the last three words. The man is "pros tous sous" (before the ones of yours), the two men from the city and the two from the fields. The last two words "tous sous" (your ones) are visually tangent to the four men standing before his house. 5:19a < Verse > 5:19c |
