Verse 14 contains 4 phrases and 21 words. The first phrase contains these 5 narrator words, ... Kai hoi boskontes autous efugon (And the-ones feeding them fled, ... ). The 5 narrator words are top down. The top of the mountain is white where Jesus is still standing. The 3 words "Kai oi boskontes" (And the ones feeding) are tangent to the ones who fed "the pigs" (Roman soldiers). The 2 words "hoi boskontes" literally translates as "the ones grazing." Bible translators prefer "the ones feeding." The geometry view is the "pigs" were eating from baskets of "artoi" (bread.) The 2 words "autous efugon" (them fled) are tangent to the mountain, the sea holding pigs infected with Unclean Spirits, and back to the 3 previous words that refer to the three swineherds fleeing back to city to report what happened. The diagram shows the swineherds and the herd of Roman soldiers who had unknowingly grazed on "the bread of life" (the gospel of Jesus) were saved by him. 5:13d < Verse > 5:14b |
