In this verse, the "House" is a metaphor the Temple in Jerusalem which was divided between the Romans and the Jews. Two different factions of Jews were divided against each other. The Antonia fortress overlooking the Temple was occupied by the Romans who appointed the Jewish High Priest who occupied the Temple. A large part of the Jewish people were opposed against the priests and any Jew who collaborated with the Romans.
