Mk 3:21a ... And having-heard, the-ones beside him went-out to-take-hold of-him, ...

Verse 21 has 4 phrases and 12 words. The 1st and 2nd phrases have these 8 narrator words ... Kai akousantes, hoi par autou eksēlthon kratēsai auton (And having-heard, the-ones beside him went-out to-take-hold of-him, ... ).

The 8 narrator words are top down. His family somehow hears about Jesus not eating bread because of a crowd. The first time was with the crowd in Levi's house where the scribes saw he was eating with sinners (2:16). Now again he doesn't eat? But Jesus never seems to eat or drink in the entire gospel. He always gives to others to eat, especially crowds (such as the 5000 and 4000). The text is purposely ambiguous. All we know is that "oi par autou" (the ones beside him), meaning "the family of him," is outside the house. The diagram shows they expect to "take control" (kratēsai) of him.
