The 5th phrase has these 8 narrator words ... Simōn oun Petros, akousas hoti ho kurios estin (Simon therefore Stone having-heard that the Lord it-is, ...). The 8 narrator words are bottom up from Simon Stone to Jesus. The focus now shifts from the beloved disciple telling Simon that "It-is the Lord." The two words "akousas hoti" (having-heard that) is the order from the narrator for Simon to turn his head so that both ears are tangent to the command. Simon is now looking straight up at Jesus.
