The 5th phrase has these two narrator words ... ebalon oun (they-cast-it therefore, ... ). The 2 narrator words are top down. The diagram shows 2 of the 7 disciples casting "the net," previously stowed in the boat behind them, over the right side of the boat. This is the classic "vessica pisces" (vessel of the fish) construction. Connecting the two intersection points of the vesica and its two points of tangency with the boat and the sea form a rhombus. Dividing it into sixteen equal parts makes it look like a net. The two near sides of the rhombus are 1,224 units in length which represents the gematria value of the Greek word "to diktuon" (the net), the same gematria value as the Greek word "ixthues" = 1224 for fishes! As soon as it is cast over the right side, 4 fish immediately swim into the net. Jn 21:6a < Verse > Jn 21:6c |
