Verse 16 has 3 phrases and 13 narrator words. The first two phrases have these 8 words in this order ... Kai dia touto, ediēkon hoi Ioudaioi ton Iēsoun (And because of this, persecuted the Jews the Jesus, ...). The 8 words are top down. The diagram shows Jesus standing in the Sabbath as the Jews put him on trial. They will accuse him of breaking the Sabbath by instructing a man he healed of lifting his mat and walking around. Jesus ordered the man to do work which was breaking the Sabbath. But Jesus broke the Sabbath twice. Once by healing the man and twice by ordering the man to do work after healing him. Jesus will later also be charged with blasphemy and sedition against Rome.
