Jn 1:33b ... "but the One having sent me to baptize in water, that one to me said, ..."

Jn1:33b110Jn1:33b2

The second and third phrases contain 10 dialog words ... all ho pempsas me baptizein en hudati, ekeinos moi eipen ("but the One having sent me to baptize in water, that one to me said, ...").

Diagram 1: The 10 words are top down. The 3 words "all ho pempsas" (but the One having sent me) are tangent to God the Father, the one having sent John off from himself. We learned way back in verse 6 that the one who sent John was God. The four words "me baptizein en hudati" (me to baptize in water) are tangent to John, the one standing in the the overlapping blue christ (1480) circles, the sign of the Jordan river, possibly by Jerico. John is the one who will be doing the baptizing.

Diagram 2: Verses 32a-33b have 27 dialog words. The diagram shows six full rows having a total of 27 words.
