Definition: dodeka (do'-dek-ah) Indeclinable Numeral (Adjective) - Twelve (12)

Diagram: The Sign of the "12" can be twelve disciples, years, or baskets. The sign above shows the 12 apostles. Mark uses the number "twelve" (dodeka) seventy-five times.

Mk 3:14 And he made twelve, ... [whom he also named apostles], ...
Mk 3:16a And he made the twelve.
Mk 4:10 the ones around him with "the twelve" were asking him about the parables.
Mk 5:25 a woman being with a "flow of blood" for twelve years.
Mk 5:42c and she trod around ... because she was of "twelve years" ...
