Thrice (3) - tris

Definition: Tris (trece) Adverb - Thrice, three (times).

Diagram: Each of the three synoptic gospels use the word "tris" (three times) twice. John uses it once. All four gospels employ it as a prophesy from Jesus that Simon Petros will deny his Lord "three times." The sign of "three times" is therefore three dialog circles the size of the face doing the talking. Every time Simon Petros fulfills the prophesy. The sign is a dark Christ (1480) circle.

Mk 14:30c Amen, I say to you, that you this day, this night, before a rooster sounds twice ...
you shall renounce me "thrice."
Mk 14:72b Before a cock crows twice, you will deny me "thrice."
