Thomas 52d ... "and have spoken (only) of the dead."

This part of the verse refers back to the text and diagram for verse 52b. The text says these prophets "spoke" (past tense). A human being could only be a prophet if everything he prophesied during his life came to pass before and after he died. A human being could only be a proven prophet after he was dead. Diagram 52b shows only twenty-three dead human prophets could fit inside the sign of Israel.

However Jesus was the Son of God and everything he said while he was alive was a true prophesy. The above diagram shows twenty-four prophets, twenty-three are dead and one is alive. The 24th prophet is the 8+8+8th prophet. The number 888 is the number of Jesus (888).
