This verse introduces the Gospel of Thomas as a Gnostic Mystery Religion text. The blue words are narrator words said by Didymos Thomas. The white words are secret dialog words said by Jesus up in heaven that were channeled to you the reader through this gospel book. The phrase the "secret sayings" is akin to what Jesus said in the Gospel of Mark, that his "mysteries and signs" occur inside his parables. The term "living Jesus" simply means that Jesus always was and always will be living in heaven as these words are read or spoken from this gospel. The diagram shows Thomas writing down these "sayings" in "word circles." The first containers of his words are equilateral triangles which can be seen as phrases, sentences, and complete verses. The words and images will later be written down page by page that form a complete comic book. |
