Thomas 19d ... "they do not change summer or winter, and the leaves of-them not do-fall."

The leaves of the trees are always warm in the sign for "summer" so they won't fall down. These leaves are also secured on both ends so they interlock with each other as if they form a web or net. This is another reason their leaves won't fall.

The two disciples are still in heaven. You can't see them right now because they are somewhere behind the canopies.
