The gnostic Thomas was a human twin of Jesus who recorded his sayings. His full name is Didymos Judas Thomas. The word didumos in Greek means twin. The word thomas, tauma in Syriac Aramaic, also means twin. The name Judas confirmed that Jesus and Didymos Thomas, his earthly twin, were both Jews. The diagram shows Jesus after he spoke his secret sayings, and Thomas his twin, a pen in each hand, after he wrote the sayings on the sign of scroll or a book.
