Mk 14:42b ... "Look! The one betraying me has come near!"

42b

The 3rd phrase has these 5 dialog words ... Idou ho paradidous me ēggiken (Look! The one betraying me has neared).

The 5 dialog words are top down. The command "Idou" (Look!) opens the eyes of the gospel reader and the three disciples as to how the text identifies the as yet unnamed Judas as the man who will betray Jesus. The 5 words "Idou ho paradidous me ēggiken" (Look, the one betraying me has neared) points to and is tangent to Judas as he comes up the mountain and draws near to Jesus and his faithful disciples.
