The 2nd and 3rd phrases have these 11 narrator words ... kai prosēuxeto hina ei dunaton estin, parelthē ap autou ē ōra (and he prayed that if possible it is, might pass away from him the hour). The 11 narrator words are top down. The first 2 words in the past tense say "kai prosēuxeto" (and he prayed) which explains why the previous diagram showed Jesus praying. This diagram shows that even though Jesus prayed for "the hour" to "pass away" it has not moved. The 5 word 3rd phrase is tangent to Jesus and the triangle holding the hour of his death about twelve hours from now. The diagram shows it is not possible for "the hour of his death to pass away from him" because God the Father has not willed it to "pass away." |
