Mk 14:33b ... And he began to be out-awed and heavy.

The 2nd sentence has these 5 narrator words ... Kai erksato ekthambeisthai kai ademonein (And he begins to be out-awed and heavy).

The 5 narrator words are top down. The text says Jesus was ekthambeisthai (ek = out, thambeisthai = awed, astonished). The diagram shows the "awe" of Jesus reaching "out" down to his "soul" which has the same sign as Simon's title. The "awe" of his soul is now "heavy" (ademonein / depressed) by the sign of his coming death in the next verse. If he feels "heavy" does that mean he might fall down? This verse is about the state of mind of Jesus as he thinks about his coming death and how it will affect his soul. The text will return to the disciples in the next verse.
