Mk 13:9a ... "But~see you for yourselves, they will give you into (the) Sanhedrin, ..."

Verse 9 contains 6 phrases and 23 dialog words. The first two phrases have these 8 dialog words ... blepete de humeis eautous paradōsousin humas eis sunedria ["Take heed but you to yourselves, they will give you into (the) Sanhedrin, ..."].

The 8 dialog words are top down left to right. In this parable, Jesus is making prophesies to his disciples about themselves but all along he is making a prophecy about himself. Jesus will go before the Sanhedrin in Mk 14:55. The Sanhedrin refers to the great council at Jerusalem, containing seventy one members: scribes, elders, prominent members of society, the high priest, and the president of the assembly. There were also smaller councils throughout Israel containing 23 members each. The first 4 disciples, all fishermen, were drawn with blue eyes, the color of the sea. The diagram shows the 71 Sanhedrin in vesica mode, looking like a fisher's net, and the four fishermen with their blue eyes, seeing but from you to yourselves, peeking through the net.
