The fourth through sixth phrases have these 11 dialog words, ... kai epi ēgemonōn kai basileōn, stathēsesthe eneken emon, eis marturion autois ("and before governors and kings you will stand for the sake of me into a testimony to them"). The 11 dialog words are top down tangent to all four of the central white triangles. Jesus himself will stand before a govenor named Pontius Pilate (15:1-15), and by his own testimony, "you say so," for his own sake, he will stand by himself as King of the Jews (15:2). The diagram shows Jesus leading the disciples before "kings" (Himself and Herod Antipas) and "governors" (Caesar and Pilate). His words will be a "testimony" (marturion) of his prophesy. 13:9b < Verses > 13:9d |
