Mk 12:38c ... "and greetings in the marketplaces."

The 4th phrase has these 5 dialog words, ... kai aspasmous en tais agorais ["and greetings in the marketplaces"].

The 5 dialog words are top down from the body of Jesus to the top of the two tables "en tais agorais" (in the marketplaces), the sign of a market in the center of a city. It is recorded that some scribes loved to be greeted by citizens and other scribes with titles such as Rabbi. Some also hugged and kissed each other which was a common custom in Persia. Some scribes loved to draw attention to themselves with their long robes, huge tassels, affected speech, and arrogant habits. They made spectacles of themselves which was blasphemous. The other two scribes in the diagram are acting normal.
