Mk 12:17a ... And the Jesus said to them, ... "The things of Caesar give to Caesar."

17a

Verse 17 has 4 phrases and 19 words. The 1st and 2nd phrases have these 5 narrator and 4 dialog words, ... Ho de Iēsous eipen autois, Ta Kaisaros apodote Kaisari (the~and Jesus said to them, ... "The things of Caesar give to Caesar.").

The 9 words are top down. Instead of answering their hypothetical Yes-No question, Jesus performs some political jujitsu. Jesus implies that the owner of a denarii belongs to the one on the coin, not the one who carries it. The diagram shows the words of Jesus giving Caesar twelve of his denarii inside the sign of the Pharisees and Herodians hypocrisy.
