Mk 12:16c ... And they said to him, ... "Of Caesar!"

The 4th and 5th phrases have these 4 narrator and 1 dialog word, ... oi de eipan autōi, Kaisaros (And they said to him, ... "Of Caesar!").

The 4 narrator and 1 dialog words are bottom up tangent to the Herodians, the Pharisees, and the denarius. As soon as they answer "Caeser" Jesus snares all five of them with that word. The issue is not about if he should or not pay a tax anymore but rather who actually owns the coin and who owns the word.
