The fourth and fifth phrases have these 5 narrator and 9 dialog words, ... kai ho Iēsous legei autois, Oude egō legō humin en poia eksousia tauta poiō (And the Jesus says to them, ... "Neither I say to you what kind of authority these things I do"). The 14 words are bottom up or 5 down and 9 up. Jesus knows but he won't say. The 5 narrator words "Kai ho Iēsous legei autois" (And the Jesus says to them) are either tangent to Jesus and the 2 elders or to Jesus and the 2 High Priests. The 2 narrator words "ho Iēsous" (the Jesus) are tangent to "the authority" triangle. Or the 4 dialog words "poia eksousia tauta poiō" (which authority these things I do) are tangent to the God-Head, the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus tells the one seeing the diagram where his authority comes from. Jesus is the "second person" of the Trinity. His title is "the Son of God." 11:33a < Verses > 12:1a |
