The second sentence has two phrase and these 10 narrator words ... Kai egeneto hōsei nekros hōste tous pollous legein hoti, apethanen (And he was as if dead, so that the many said that he died). The 4 narrator words of the first phrase, size 888, are bottom up. The 6 narrator words of the second phrase, size 1480, are bottom up the sides and top down the center. The adverbial conjunction "hōsei" comes from the adverb "hos" (as) and the conjunction "ei" (if). The child then falls into (enters) the Unclean Spirit which violates the order Jesus said "and no longer may you enter into him." The crowd (the many) then says to Jesus "hoti, apethanen" (that he died)! It would not be a miracle if Jesus helped the child get up if he was only hurt temporarily. It would be a miracle if the child actually died! In any event, the Unclean Spirit has defied Jesus and has gone back into holding the child. But the Unclean Spirit is deaf and dumb and doesn't listen to words. Jesus now needs to use force. 9:26a < Verses > 9:27a |
