Mk 5:1b ... into the region of-the Gerasenes.

The second phrase has these 5 narrator words, ... eis tēn chōran tōn gerasēnōn (into the region of the Gerasenes).

The 5 narrator words are top down. The word "eis" (into) is again tangent to region between the sea and the land. The last 4 words all refer to and are tangent to the three kinds of people, shown above, that inhabit the region. The disciples have already departed from the boat and are nowhere to be seen. They have entered the "tēn chōran" (the region) of the Gerasenes, a land of mountains, tombs, fields, a herd of pigs, some swineherds, and a demoniac that has the citizens terrified in a city called "Decapolis."
