Verse 8 has two phrases containing 3 narrator and 8 dialog words. Here is the exact order in which the 11 words appear, ... Elegen gar auto, ekselthe to pneuma to akatharton ek tou anthrōpou (He was saying for to him, "Come out the Spirit the Unclean from the man")! The 11 words are top down. In verse 5:2 we were told the man was "in an Unclean Spirit." Now, when Jesus orders the "Unclean Spirit" to come away from the possessed man we see it come away from him split in two. The 7 words "to pneuma to akatharton ek tou anthrōpou" (the Spirit the Unclean from the man) on the diagram shows the demoniac might be possessed by many other Unclean Spirits. 5:07c < Verse > 5:09a |
