Mk 1:45c ... The one yet came out began to preach many (things) and spread thru 'the word,' so that no longer was he able openly into a city to enter, but outside upon wilderness places he was, ...

45c

The first two phrases have 18 narrative words. The third phrase has these 6 narrative words: ... all exō ep erēmois topois ēn. (but outside upon wilderness places he was, ...).

The focus shifts from the walled city to the wilderness. The six white triangles (6 stones) represented a walled city in verse 45b. In verse 45c the six green triangles represent wilderness places. The two large white rectangles and the white square, each with an area of 1/4th the diagram represent an expanse of wilderness. The 24 narrative words are bottom up tangent to a wilderness. The 2 words "all exō" (but outside) are tangent to a large outside expanse of wilderness. The 3 words "ep erēmois topois" (upon wilderness places) are tangent to two green wilderness triangles that can fit inside a large outside expanse. The word "ēn" (he was) is tangent to the point of a wilderness place triangle on which Jesus was standing. The diagram shows Jesus is ouside 4 green wilderness places but inside an expanse of wilderness while standing on top of two green wilderness places.
