Jn 11:42b ... "but because of the crowd standing-around, ..."

Jesus says the following 6 dialog words regarding the crowd, the four Jews, two sisters, plus himself "standing around" the opening of the cave ... alla dia ton oxlon ton periestōta ("but because of the crowd standing around, ...") ...

These 6 dialog words are top down. The diagram shows that these three pairs of words also terminate tangent to the ears of God the Father. The cave opening is also tangent to the ears of two men. Jesus has no need to talk to his father. That would be like talking to himself. John is really talking to the readers of this gospel.
