The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th phrases have these 8 narrator and 6 dialog words, ... Kai efōnēsen Mariam tēn adelfēn autēs lafra eipousa, "Ho didaskalos parestin kai fōnei se" (And she-called Mary the sister of-her, secretly having-said, ... "The teacher is-here and he-calls you"). The 8 narrator words are bottom up, the 6 dialog words are top down. The 4 words "Mariam tēn adelfēn autēs" (Mary the sister of-her) are tangent to Mary who must be drawn below Martha based on what the text says in verse 29. Five of the 6 words "Ho didaskalos parestin kai fōnei se" (The teacher is-here and he-calls you) are tangent to Martha. The last word "se" (you) is tangent to Mary. "The teacher" (Jesus) is unseen in the background behind Martha. The two words "lafra eipousa" (secretly having-said) are tangent to no one. |
