The 6th phrase has these 3 narrator words ... kai ēlthen blepōn (and he-came seeing). The 3 narrator words are top down. The verb enipsato (to ritually wash), refers back the command from Jesus to nipsai eis tēn kolumbēthran (wash into the pool). The blind man had much time and trouble going to this pool rather than going nearby to wash the clay off his eyes. This proved the man had faith in Jesus to do exactly what he was told. The diagram shows the man submerged in the pool with the Holy Spirit and the clay from his eyes "washed into" the bottom of the pool. Jn 9:7d < Verses > Jn 9:8a |
