The 4th phrase has these 8 narrator words, ... kai epechrisen autou ton pēlon epi tous ofthalmous (and he-anointed of-him the clay upon the eyes). The 8 narrator words are top down from Jesus to his hands placing his spit-moisted clay on the eyes of the blind son. The words pēlon (clay) and ofthalmous (eyes) are the 5th and 8th words, an odd and even number, in order to guarantee that the left (odd) and right (even) hands would be directly over the clay being applied upon the iris of each eye of the blind man. The last six words autou ton pēlon, epi tous ofthalmous (of-him the clay upon the eyes) are tangent to the arms and hands of Jesus as he anoints the eyes of the blind man with the clay.
